Life often feels steady—until hardship hits. Sometimes challenges creep in quietly; other times they rush in like a flood, shaking our sense of direction and leaving us feeling stuck. Sometimes we can hold so tightly to our own understanding that we can’t see another way forward.

One day, while looking at what seemed like an ordinary photo (see above), I asked the Lord to help me see with His eyes. At first, all I could see was an impassable body of water. Then my eyes were opened—I noticed a bridge above, waiting to be crossed. That moment changed everything. I realized I needed to stop relying on my own understanding and instead look up. When I shifted my focus to Him, I saw the bridge of His promises stretching out before me.

In the midst of struggle, it’s often hard to see what God has already placed just above us. Yet He is faithful. His promises bring hope, and His presence gives us the strength to keep moving forward. I would be honoured to walk alongside you, helping you discover that promise bridge and the bigger picture God has already prepared.

I also understand how heavy it can feel to hold faith in one hand and suffering in the other. That tension is real, and navigating it takes time, patience, and deep healing. While the journey is not easy, you do not have to walk through it alone. I understand that process, and I am here to support you with compassion, grace, and care.

When I’m not counselling, I enjoy time with family and friends, hiking, reading, travelling, and a good cup of Earl Grey tea. I also enjoy my role as a life group leader and as a member of the prayer team supporting the pastoral leadership at RCC.

*I want to acknowledge that some people have experienced hurt or hypocrisy within the church. If that’s part of your story, I am truly sorry. Those experiences do not reflect the heart of a loving God. My hope is that this space offers room to heal and reminds you of your deep worth and value.
